One of our favorite wedding clients, Jamie called us out today for a fun day of Portraits in Snohomish, Washington. We photographed Jamie & Dave’s wedding back on September 10, 2011. This year, Jamie hits another milestone in her life when graduates from college in June. So we wanted to give her something to share with her friends & family.

So the official 2012 wedding season begins. And it begins with Claire & Thomas’ Wedding at the Canal in Seattle, Washington. We began talking with Claire & Thomas when we were on our Australian vacation back in August, 2011. When we met in person, we had an instant connection with them and we were very excited to be a part of their wedding.
We started the day at a condo just a few short minutes from the Canal where Claire and her bridesmaids were getting ready. It was there we met Claire’s family, who flew in all the way from New Mexico. The Canal is a great place for a wedding event. The entire venue sits along the canal just down from the locks. The railroad tressell provides a nice scenic backdrop along with some old abandoned railroad tracks. This venue is also nice in that it can function for the ceremony as well as the reception site at the same time since the ceremony takes place on the floor down from where the tables are sat for the reception.
