The two got married at the Antheia Ballroom in Snohomish, WA.  Their wedding was a very cute, inmate setting and perfect for Briana and Bart.  They were completely surrounded by close family and friends. Briana and I (Heather) connected on Facebook and Pinterest in the months leading up to their wedding.  (and it was Briana’s interest in Pinterest that has Ryan going through over 185,000 wedding pictures to find those worthy of our new Pinterest page (and not going to sleep until 2am every night until he finishes).   It was fun to hear about her wedding planning throughout the past few months!  Coincidentally, we both saw the same example of a generations pictures.  And not wanting to copy a picture verbatim, we decided to create our own ‘Generations’ picture (but one worthy of going viral on Pinterest).  I was so excited to figure out how to takes some of the idea’s she had seen for pictures and kick them up a notch to make them unique and special just for the two of them!   Let’s just say a few of their pictures made it onto our Pinterest Board.

Briana found a lot of amazing ideas on Pinterest and brought them to life for her special day!  Not only did she find idea’s for wedding pictures, she also found idea’s for the centerpieces for the tables (and turned them into exactly what she wanted).  Each center piece was unique.  Each table was unique.  And the details,  there was so much love in all the details for Briana and Bart’s special day.  The wedding was totally them, from the centerpieces to the favors and on to little idea’s that came about throughout the night.  In fact, instead of having a ring bearer, they had a sign holder.  The sign holder carried a wooden sign (that Bart made) that said “Here comes the Bride.”  The ceremony was very sweet and through lens I could see so much love between the two of them!

Thanks Briana & Bart for having us as part of your wedding.  You and your family really made us feel at home and we enjoyed working with you immensely.

Going traditional, Amy and Chris decided they wanted the first moment they saw each other to be when she walked down the aisle with her father.  It was an amazing moment…Amy came down a curved staircase and her dad was waiting for her at the bottom.  When they first saw each other, the camera caught the excitement in their eyes (you can see the picture below).   By the time she reached the end of the aisle, she took Chris’s hand, and you could see many tears of joy throughout all the friends and family that were there to share their amazing day with them!  One of he highlights of the ceremony was when the minister asked Chris if he took Amy to be his wife and he said “I most certainly do”!

They rest of the wedding day went by in a blink.  They had many friends and family in from out of town.  The reception was full of a great mix of music, dancing and laughter.  One of the highlights was when Chris requested the song “Sunglasses at Night.” He got out on the dance floor with all the guys and they all put on there shades and sang and dance. The part that made this so incredible is Chris doesn’t normally dance so I don’t know who enjoyed it more the crowd or Amy who couldn’t stop smiling at her husband who was having so much fun with the song!  At the end of the evening Amy changed into a shorter white sundress that totally fit Amy’s personality and after dancing the night away.  I am sure it was nice to be in something a little cooler than her amazing wedding dress.  Amy and Chris at the end of the evening said good bye to their family and friends and drove away in a town car to spend there first night together as husband and wife!  On Monday they are leaving for their Hawaiian honeymoon!

Thank you both for including us in your special day, we had so much fun meeting your friends and family!  We look forward to baby bumps, newborns and family photo’s for years to come!

We’re proud to present Brooke & Jason’s Wedding in Las Vegas, Nevada.  If you ask Brooke she will be the first to tell you, it was love at first sight (for Brooke and I (Heather)).  We met Brooke at the Seattle Wedding Expo in Seattle last September.  From there, we starting talking and connected instantly.  When Brooke told me she was getting married in Las Vegas, I thought “This is perfect.”  Coincidentally our studio was already going to be there for a friend’s wedding on the same weekend.  How perfect !!

So, fast forward to April 20, 2012.  The day started at the Monte Carlo to capture the much anticipated “getting ready shots” for both Brooke and Jason.  And we were in for a treat when we met Brooke’s make-up artist.  The Make-up Artist and Hair Stylist was none other than LaVey and Janine from Your Beauty Call.  Both LaVey and Janine were in Brooke’s Suite when we arrived, doing all the ladies hair and make-up!  Both LaVey and Janine were both fabulous during the entire time we were together and it was fun watching them work with all the girls and getting them ready for the wedding.  (a fun little fact is LaVey and Janine have done hair & makeup for some famous people, including Paris Hilton and the Kardashian’s).  When we describe the two, Brooke loves glitz and glamor and Jason is a little more simplistic.  With this in mind, Brooke was very careful to choose the perfect dress with enough glitz and glam for her and keeping it very elegant for Jason. Her Maid of Honor made her garter and it include a peacock feather some rhinestones keeping in line with the theme of the wedding day.  Brooke’s garter was her something blue, her dress and shoes were new, and she had a borrowed a bracelet from her mom that tied everything together perfectly (and the bracelet is something that her mom has had since Brooke was a baby).

Brooke and Jason’s first moments were very traditional.  They wanted to wait before seeing each other until Brooke was walking down the aisle at her ceremony.  Brooke and Jason (along with the bridesmaids and groomsmen) took two different limo’s to the Chapel of the Flowers, arriving moments  before the Ceremony.  Brooke was hidden away and Jason was waiting with his groomsmen in the chapel.    The Ceremony was sweet and there were even a few tears (from both Brooke and Jason).  After the ceremony and a few pictures by the chapel’s staff photographers (which is why you won’t see any ceremony pictures from our studio), we headed down to the famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign to get pictures with Brooke & Jason, the bridal party (and even Elvis)!

The reception was at Maggiano’s Little Italy, located at the Fashion Show Mall (located directly across from the Wynn/Encore, the Palazzo and Treasure Island).  Maggiano’s provides a great cocktail hour along with appetizers and a four course meal.  The tables, uniquely lined with rhinestone candle holders varied on each table.  The reception was fun, with close family and friends getting together with fun, music and dancing.  The reception had toast’s, with Brooke’s maid of honor, Jason’s best man and Brooke’s father giving a toast.  Then followed the traditional cake cutting, first dance and parent dances.  After the reception, the whole group headed over to the waterfall in front of the Wynn to take a few more pictures of the bridal and party with Brooke and Jason.  Afterwards, the whole bridal party went back to the Monte Carlo and kept the evening going.   In fact, as soon as we were done, we headed down there as well to find them still celebrating their big day at 2:00am.   We had such a great time photographing Brook and Jason’s Vegas wedding and made some new friends with their bridal party and other friends and family!
